Role Definition

Lead and manage multiple projects involving internal customers as well as functions, organizations, products, or value chains during the project life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Leading cross functional efforts to support strategic sourcing activities in order to lower landed costs including transportation and duty

• Assists with developing and execution of project scope and responsible for schedule achievement, and project profitability.

• Coordinating resources across all major business units of the company and external customers for projects

• Overseeing project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addressing and resolving problems.

• Plans, schedules and manages the execution of projects.

• Manage report out to leadership and executive office on project status

• Consults on supply chain network design projects or processes.

• Advises others on capacity issues at various points in the supply chain.

• Leverage analytical tools to support the business in making strategic decision

• Provides input for Gantt or PERT charts or their equivalent to track project progress and status.

• Under guidance, plans and estimates simple projects.

• Assists in detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements.

• Obtains information from stakeholders during the planning stage of a project.

• Produces standard project status reports.

Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management;

ability to develop and implement strategies, practices and tools for controlling the whole processes.

Level Extensive Experience:

• Quantifies and evaluates benefits and risks of various supply chain strategies and approaches.

• Participates in joint planning, process design/redesign with clients and partners.

• Monitors the complete supply chain management process.

• Manages supply chain finance activities and measurements of effectiveness.

Desired Qualifications
A degree and 5 -7 years of proven experience with $50M projects

PMP Certification

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Azure, Microsoft Project

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Supply chain and Sourcing Strategies

Experience using AI

Summary Pay Range:

$120,660.00 - $180,900.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
