Project Manager - Web Development

Job Description:

FOCUS IT SERVICES is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our Web Development Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development and coding, coupled with exceptional human management skills. This role requires the ability to manage projects and teams effectively, ensuring timely delivery of web development projects while maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Management: Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed. Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
• Team Leadership: Oversee and support a team of web developers, providing guidance and motivation to achieve project goals. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Client and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. Manage client expectations and deliverables, ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes. Collaborate with other departments and external partners as needed to achieve project objectives.
• Technical Oversight: Possess a solid understanding of web development principles, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies. Work closely with developers to ensure technical solutions meet project requirements and standards. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into project processes and team development.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of web development. Review project deliverables for accuracy, functionality, and user experience. Facilitate post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management within the web development industry.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of web development and coding; proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Organisation: Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
