A leading interior design and decoration company in Doha, Qatar, is seeking to hire a highly competent Project Manager with a minimum of ten years of experience in executing and managing luxury interior decoration and finishing projects.

Job Description:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the complete supervision of all project execution phases at the designated sites, from site handover to the final delivery to the client, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy in line with the approved designs and technical specifications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Project Management: On-site supervision of all decoration and finishing works (gypsum, painting, flooring, woodwork, lighting, etc.), ensuring work progresses according to the schedule and budget.
• Design and Conceptualization

· Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, budget, and project goals.

· Conceptual Design: Develop initial design concepts and mood boards, incorporating aesthetic and functional requirements.

· Schematic Design: Create preliminary sketches, floor plans, and layouts to present to the client for approval.

· Material and Finish Selection: Recommend and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and decorative items that align with the design concept and budget.

• Blueprint Review: Ability to read, analyze, and accurately implement detailed engineering and design drawings on-site.
• Quality Assurance: Implementing high-quality standards throughout all execution phases, inspecting materials used, and ensuring their compliance with specifications.
• Coordination and Follow-up: Continuous coordination with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure workflow harmony and prevent conflicts.
• Reporting: Submitting periodic progress reports, documenting all project stages, and identifying any challenges or obstacles.
• Resource Management: Supervising and directing on-site labor, and ensuring the optimal use of materials and equipment.
• Occupational Safety: Implementing health and safety procedures on-site to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or an equivalent field.
• Work Experience: A proven track record of no less than 10 years as a Site Engineer in the field of interior decoration and finishing execution, preferably with well-known decoration companies.
• Project Experience: Previous experience in managing and executing diverse projects (residential, commercial, hospitality, etc.).
• Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of all types of materials and finishes used in interior decoration.
• Excellent ability to solve technical problems that may arise during implementation.
• Software Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project) is preferred.
• Personal Skills:
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to effectively manage work teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Languages: Fluency in both Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• License: Must possess a valid Qatari driving license.
