Project Planning Executive

  • Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Technical Certification Required:

1) Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6

2) Expertise in Microsoft Excel

3) Experience in WBS development, schedule management, and S-Curve analysis

4) Experience in Business Analytics and Power BI is preferred.

  • Experience Required:

1) 1–2 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project coordination

2) Exposure to public sector clients or large-scale deployments

3) Background in urban infrastructure, technology, or operations-intensive environments

  • Job Duties:

Project Planning & Scheduling

1) Develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for projects to clearly define project scope and deliverables.

2) Prepare detailed project schedules based on WBS using planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera.

3) Define project activities, dependencies, milestones, and critical paths.

5) Develop and maintain the baseline project schedule.

6) Update schedules periodically based on project progress and changes.

Project Monitoring & Progress Tracking

1) Track and monitor project progress against the approved schedule.

2) Compare Baseline vs Forecasted vs Actual progress to identify schedule deviations.

3) Ensure that project execution is aligned with the approved timeline and milestones.

4) Identify potential delays, risks, and bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions. S-Curve Development & Performance Monitoring

5) Prepare and maintain Project S-Curves to reflect planned, actual, and forecasted project progress.

6) Conduct Baseline vs Actual vs Forecast analysis to monitor project performance.

7) Develop visual progress dashboards and performance reports for management review. Procurement Monitoring

8) Maintain a Procurement Status Register to track procurement activities and material delivery timelines.

9) Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure alignment with the project schedule.

10) Monitor procurement progress and highlight potential delays impacting project execution.

Project Reporting

1) Prepare Weekly and Monthly Project Status Reports including:

o Project progress updates

o Deliverable tracking

o Schedule variance analysis

o Procurement status

o Risks and mitigation plans
