Project Procurement Senior Specialist

The Project Procurement Senior Specialist , reporting to the Purchasing Manager within the Purchasing Department, will define and implement project procurement and supplier strategies for plant engineering systems and technical products in group-wide projects for Aras Kargo. The scope extends from Azerbaijan to Austria, with a particular focus on Turkey and Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries .

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management or related areas, with a strong background in solution sales of complex systems (logistics experience is a plus)
• Knowledge about plant engineering systems (sorting/warehousing systems, etc.) and technical products (parcel locker systems, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in contract and project management
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Advanced level of English
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally

Main Responsibilities:

• Define and implement project procurement and supplier strategies for plant engineering (e.g. sorting systems, warehousing systems) and other technical products (e.g. parcel locker systems) for group-wide projects.
• Conduct complex procurement processes in an international environment.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, project management, finance) including the category manager (located in Austria) to define procurement requirements and specifications and project goals.
• Lead complex price and contract negotiations, including contract management in Turkish and English.
• Develop the specific supplier network in collaboration with the category manager.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions.
• Conduct ongoing supplier and risk assessments to ensure compliance and performance.
