Projects / Energy Lawyer – Saudi Arabia (2+ PQE)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Projects / Energy Lawyer (2+ PQE) to join a leading international team advising on some of the most significant infrastructure and energy projects in the Middle East.


This role is based in Riyadh and offers the chance to work on high-profile regional developments across the energy, infrastructure and utilities sectors. Candidates do not need to currently be based in Saudi Arabia , and relocation support will be provided where required.


The Role

You will join a highly regarded projects practice advising sponsors, developers, lenders and government entities on complex infrastructure and energy transactions. The work will involve advising on the development, financing and delivery of major regional projects.

Matters may include:

  • Power and renewable energy projects
  • Infrastructure and utilities developments
  • Project development and project finance transactions
  • EPC, O&M and concession agreements
  • Public-private partnerships (PPP)

You will work closely with senior lawyers on transactions across the Middle East, gaining excellent exposure to sophisticated cross-border work.


Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years’ PQE gained at a leading international or well-regarded regional law firm
  • Experience advising on projects, project finance, energy or infrastructure matters
  • Strong drafting and transaction management skills
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • A willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia (candidates currently based overseas are encouraged to apply)
