Property/ Leasing Admin

Job description

We are looking for a Property Admin who will oversee the efficient management and operation of our company’s property portfolio. You will be responsible for maintaining the properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing rental income. The Property Admin will also play a crucial role in budgeting, marketing, and tenant acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain residential/commercial properties within the portfolio.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries, concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee tenant move-in and move-out processes, conducting inspections and documenting property conditions.
  • Ensure properties are compliant with local housing regulations and safety standards.
  • Market and advertise vacant units to attract and secure new tenants.
  • Screen potential tenants, conduct background checks, and approve applications.
  • Negotiate and execute lease agreements with tenants.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any issues proactively.
  • Handle rent collection and pursue delinquent accounts, following the company's policies.
  • Prepare and present reports on property performance to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Real Estate, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in property management, or real estate, preferably with 2 to 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of local housing laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with tenants, vendors, and team members effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple properties and tasks.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in property management software and tools.
