Property Technology (PropTech) Engineer

The PropTech Engineer is responsible for the research, implementation, and maintenance of technological solutions that enhance property value, operational efficiency, and the customer experience. At Inmogestion del Sur, you will focus on digitizing the real estate lifecycle—from automated lead management and virtual property viewings to integrating Smart Building technologies (BMS) into residential and commercial portfolios in Doha.

Key Responsibilities

• Smart Building Integration: Oversee the deployment and maintenance of IoT sensors and Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor energy usage, security, and occupancy in real-time.
• Platform Development: Manage and optimize the company’s digital platforms, ensuring seamless integration between CRM (Salesforce/Propertybase), listing portals, and internal property databases.
• Virtual Experience Management: Implement and maintain VR/AR tools for remote property viewings, a critical service for Doha’s high volume of international and expatriate investors.
• Data Analytics & Valuation: Utilize Big Data and AI to develop automated valuation models (AVMs) and provide predictive market analytics for the Qatari market.
• Cybersecurity & Privacy: Ensure all digital property records and tenant data comply with Qatar’s Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (PDPPL).
• Process Automation: Architect workflows to automate manual tasks in leasing, maintenance requests, and contract management (PropTech automation).
• Vendor Liaison: Evaluate and manage relationships with global and local tech vendors (e.g., smart lock providers, energy management software).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 4–7 years in a technical role within the Real Estate, Construction, or Tech sector. Experience in the Middle East PropTech scene is highly valued.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Information Systems. An additional certification in Real Estate Management is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Systems: Experience with BMS (Honeywell, Siemens) and PropTech software (Yardi, MRI, or Propertyfinder Pro).
• Development: Proficiency in Python or JavaScript for system integrations and data analysis.
• Data: Mastery of SQL and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
• IoT/Networking: Understanding of LoRaWAN, Zigbee, or 5G applications in smart buildings.
• Language: Professional English fluency is mandatory. Arabic is a major asset for communicating with local developers and government utility bodies (KAHRAMAA).

Pay: QAR21,000.00 per month
