Job Summary
We are seeking a
PS (Packet Switched) Core Network Engineer
to operate, maintain, and optimize PS core networks across
2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G
environments. The role covers daily operations, advanced troubleshooting, solution implementation, and network evolution activities, with responsibilities aligned to the engineers experience level.

Responsibilities & Technical Requirements:
Advanced Troubleshooting & Maintenance

Strong capability in comprehensive troubleshooting and routine PS core maintenance
-
Solid understanding of IPv4 networking and subnetting
-
Expertise in trace capture and analysis tools:
-
PCAP, Traceview
-
Proficient with FMA for traffic statistics, alarms, operation logs, and CHR analysis
Mobility, Interfaces & Services
-
Strong command of mobility and session management:
-
Attach, TAU, Handover, PDP setup, session setup
-
Registration, inter-RAT interworking
-
User authentication, NE selection, QoS principles
-
Knowledge of interface signaling tracing and analysis:
-
Ga, Gn, Iu, Gr, Gb, S1-MME, S1-U, S5, S8, SGi, Gx, Gy
PS Core Implementation

Hands-on experience with 2G / 3G / 4G PS service implementations:
-
SGSN/MME pooling
-
Address pool allocation
-
CSFB
-
Experience with simple PCC services and charging schemes
O&M & KPIs

Strong routine O&M capabilities:
-
Message tracing, alarm analysis, performance monitoring

Experience with patching, upgrades, part replacement, and capacity expansion

Knowledge of NSA and SA architectures and 5G solutions
-
Ability to analyze 3G / 4G / 5G KPIs and counters and troubleshoot KPI degradation

Experience with licenses, patches, certificates, and KPI systems
