Description of Work
This position supports the Division of Public Health’s Performance Management (PM) Program by coordinating data-driven initiatives that enhance operational and program effectiveness. Reporting to the Director of Public Health Evaluation and Quality Improvement, the role ensures alignment of PM efforts with strategic priorities and supports the development of performance objectives, indicators, and targets across all sections. The position manages the PM system, facilitates regular work sessions with program staff, and monitors performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. It also contributes to strategic planning, policy development, and workforce training related to performance management. This role plays a key part in supporting the Division’s accreditation and continuous quality improvement efforts.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Demonstrated experience managing a performance management system, including entering, updating, and validating programmatic data across multiple departments or sections.
Hands-on experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative performance data to identify trends, assess program effectiveness, and support data-informed decision-making.
Proven experience facilitating structured work sessions with cross-functional teams to align program goals with strategic priorities and prepare for executive-level reporting.
Experience using Results-Based Accountability or similar frameworks to develop performance indicators, set measurable targets, and evaluate outcomes.
Documented experience maintaining internal knowledge-sharing platforms such as SharePoint, including organizing content, updating resources, and supporting user access and navigation.

Veterans’ and National Guard Preference
