Public Health Strategist

Description

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Public Health Strategist within the Office of Community Health Strategy. This position will develop and coordinate public health strategies. Looking for individuals with performance management and/or quality improvement experience. This position will be involved in the Community Health Assessments doing coordination/assessment/and implementation of strategies to improve health within the community.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience, Education, and Training

Typically requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Communications, Health, Sociology, Psychology or other related field;

AND

Three years of professional population health experience.
Master's degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of required experience.

PREFERRED

Previous and recent experience with health strategy.
