Public Relation Officer (PRO)

Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and professional Public Relations Officer (PRO) to handle all legal, administrative, and government-related tasks for the organization in compliance with UAE laws and regulations. The PRO will act as the primary point of contact with government authorities, ensuring seamless processing of visas, labor permits, trade licenses, and other essential documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Government Liaison:
  • Serve as the company’s representative with government authorities, including the Department of Economic Development (DED), Ministry of Labor (MoL), Immigration, and other relevant entities.
  • Handle all formal communications with government bodies, including submission, follow-up, and resolution of queries.
  • Visa and Labor Processes:
  • Manage employee visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and labor permits in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with immigration rules and labor laws.
  • Trade License & Approvals:
  • Oversee the renewal, amendment, and cancellation of trade licenses and other regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate documentation for approvals, permits, and certifications as needed for the company’s operations.
  • Documentation & Records Management:
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all official company and employee-related documents, including passports, Emirates IDs, and health insurance.
  • Process legal documents such as notarizations, attestation, and translation services as required.
  • Compliance & Updates:
  • Stay informed of any changes in UAE labor, immigration, and corporate laws, ensuring the company’s full compliance.
  • Advise management on legal and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks.
  • Employee Support:
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding visa-related processes and required documentation.
  • Resolve employee queries and concerns related to labor and immigration matters.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks:
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Assist in organizing government inspections and audits, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a PRO in the UAE, preferably inAbu Dhabi.
