Public Relations Officer (PRO)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and communication-focused Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage the organization’s public image and build strong relationships with media, stakeholders, and the public. This role is responsible for developing PR strategies, handling communications, and ensuring positive brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement public relations strategies and communication plans
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, journalists, and stakeholders
  • Prepare press releases, media kits, speeches, and official statements
  • Manage media inquiries and coordinate interviews or press events
  • Monitor media coverage and public perception of the organization
  • Organize events, press conferences, and promotional activities
  • Handle crisis communications and reputation management
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams on campaigns
  • Manage social media messaging and public communications (as needed)
  • Ensure consistent and accurate messaging across all channels

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • 2–5+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience with media outreach and press relations
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and crisis situations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Pay: QAR25,000.00 per month
