Pump Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Pump Technician to perform preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance on various types of pumps. The ideal candidate will ensure pumps operate efficiently, reliably, and safely, while complying with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, including centrifugal, submersible, booster, and circulation pumps.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues such as shaft misalignment, bearing failures, seal leaks, vibrations, and unusual noise.

Dismantle, repair, and reassemble pumps and related components (impellers, seals, couplings).

Conduct pump performance tests and efficiency checks.

Monitor operational parameters and report any abnormalities.

Assist in the installation, commissioning, and alignment of new pump systems.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards during all maintenance tasks.

Qualifications & Experience:

ITI or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the Facility Management (FM) industry.

Proven experience in pump maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Skills & Requirements:

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of pump systems, hydraulics, and related components.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Awareness of safety and operational protocols in FM industry.
