MECHANICAL HELPER

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Mechanical Helper to assist the mechanical maintenance team. The candidate will provide physical and technical support during maintenance activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Mechanical Engineers and Technicians during maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks.

• Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from work sites as required.

• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, greasing, tightening bolts, and replacing filters.

• Support in the dismantling and reassembly of mechanical components under supervision.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

• Follow all safety instructions and guidelines including LOTO, PPE, and confined space procedures.

• Transport spare parts and consumables between storage areas and work sites.

• Report any observed hazards or equipment issues to the supervising technician or engineer.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

✓ Secondary school certificate or vocational training in mechanical maintenance preferred.

✓ Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and workshop safety.

✓ Physically fit to perform manual tasks in an industrial environment.

✓ Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.

✓ Prior experience in a power plant or industrial facility is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RO200.000 - RO300.000 per month
