Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement & Vendor Management
- Raise purchase indents based on site requirements and approved budgets.
- Source and negotiate with vendors for best pricing, credit terms, and timely delivery.
- Prepare and maintain comparative statements for approval before order placement.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track material dispatch and delivery schedules.
- Maintain and update an approved vendor list and performance evaluation records.
2. Store & Inventory Management
- Oversee material receipt, issuance, and consumption entries across all sites.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure minimum stock quantities are maintained.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate discrepancies.
- Review daily/weekly store reports received from site storekeepers.
- Ensure all inward and outward material records are properly documented and filed.
3. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate between site engineers, storekeepers, accounts, and vendors to ensure smooth material flow.
- Liaise with transporters for dispatches and timely delivery of materials.
- Communicate regularly with site teams regarding pending material requests and expected deliveries.
- Escalate delays, shortages, or quality issues to management promptly.
4. Systems & Reporting
- Maintain centralized store and purchase records using ERP/excel formats as directed.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on stock status, purchase expenditure, and material reconciliation.
- Assist in implementing digital systems for store and purchase management.
5. Compliance & Cost Control
- Ensure procurement is done within approved budgets and as per company policies.
- Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with accounts for timely payment after material verification.
- Maintain strict control on wastage, pilferage, and unauthorized material movement.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in store/purchase function (preferably in construction or infrastructure).
- Strong knowledge of building materials, procurement cycles, and store documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
- Excellent negotiation, record-keeping, and coordination skills.
- Integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
