Purchase and Planning Engineer

Full job description

• Development and implement production schedules based on customer orders and forecasts.
• Coordinate with various departments (Design, procurement and manufacturing) to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Monitor inventory levels and plan material requirements to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
• Maintain records of material usage and inventory.
• Oversee the production process and ensure that it runs efficiently and smoothly.
• Identify bottlenecks in the production process and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and production timelines.
• Act as a liaison between production, sales, and logistics to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Communicate production updates and potential delays to stakeholders.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.
