Job Title: Purchase Assistant

Location: Sharjah
Salary : 3,000 to 3,500 + Accommodation
Reports to: General Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Assistant to support our procurement team in sourcing and purchasing goods and services. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining inventory levels, communicating with suppliers, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing suppliers and maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify the procurement team when stock levels are low.
  • Communicate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs.
  • Assist in negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Follow up on any issues related to damaged goods, delayed shipments, or order discrepancies.
  • Generate reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a purchasing or administrative role (1–2 years preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with procurement software is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MS Excel, Pivot table & Vlook UP
  • Knowledge of supply chain procedures and purchasing best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
