Purchase Assistant

A Purchase Assistant supports a company's procurement operations by processing purchase orders, managing supplier relationships, maintaining records, and assisting with inventory and cost analysis. Key duties include sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, tracking orders, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery to meet company needs and support cost-saving initiatives. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills are essential for this administrative and support role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Purchase Orders: Create, track, and process purchase orders for materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain Supplier Relations: Identify, evaluate, and maintain communication with vendors and suppliers.
  • Handle Records: Keep accurate and detailed records of purchase orders, invoices, delivery confirmations, and payment receipts.
  • Inventory Support: Monitor stock levels, arrange timely deliveries, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure sufficient inventory.
  • Cost Analysis: Search for cost-saving opportunities, review product innovations, and monitor raw material pricing.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and preparing statements and invoices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
