Purchase Assistant

Umm al Qurayn, United Arab Emirates

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Assistant to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will support the purchasing department in managing vendor relationships, processing purchase orders, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities
  • Prepare, review, and process purchase orders
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
  • Follow up with suppliers for order confirmations and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs
  • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Assist with invoice reconciliation and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintain supplier database and documentation
  • Provide administrative support to the purchasing team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a purchasing assistant or in a similar administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Familiarity with supply chain procedures and ERP systems is a plus
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 1- 3 yrs Experience in Similar Role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
