Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Assistant to support our Operation and Accounts team. The successful candidate will assist in sourcing products, managing purchase orders, maintaining inventory levels, and communicating with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations for materials, products, or services.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.
- Track and follow up on order status, delivery timelines, and payment schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
- Coordinate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs.
- Resolve issues related to order discrepancies, delays, or damaged goods.
- Update and maintain the supplier database.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and negotiating terms.
- Support in generating reports related to purchases and budgets.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a purchasing or administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel); familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of procurement procedures and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with industry-specific products or materials.
- Ability to analyse data and generate reports.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
