Key Responsibilities :
- Manage end-to-end procurement process for mechanical, electrical, and civil materials related to Power Plant operations.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for equipment, spares, consumables, and technical services.
- Obtain competitive quotations and ensure timely placement of purchase orders and contracts.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring terms are favorable and risks are mitigated.
- Ensure quality, delivery and cost competitiveness.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to drive efficient procurement strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 0-2 years of experience in procurement within a power plant or heavy engineering industry. (Fresher are welcome to apply)
- Knowledge of power plant operations, civil works, mechanical/electrical components, and industry vendors.
- Have experience in reading civil/structural drawings and preparing BOQs using AutoCAD or similar tools.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation, planning, and vendor development skills.
- Excellent communication and interdepartmental coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of procurement data and documentation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
