Purchase Assistant

Procurement & Vendor Management:

• Source and procure chemical raw materials and packaging materials while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.
• Send enquiries, gather quotes, and conduct market price comparisons for procurement decisions.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors as per company policies and market norms.
• Develop and maintain strategic vendor relationships while negotiating credit terms.
• Identify and develop alternative vendors through R&D to ensure supply continuity and cost optimization.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events to identify new suppliers and market trends.
• Coordinate with internal teams for vendor payments, invoices, and procurement issues.

Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure all procured materials meet QA/QC parameters in compliance with client specifications.
• Address quality-related concerns with vendors and implement corrective actions in coordination with the Quality Assurance Team.

Import & Export:

• Oversee the coordination and renewal of all import/export licenses and ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.
• Handle import and export documentation, including LC (Letter of Credit), TR (Trust
• Receipts) and customs clearance.
• Manage liaison with CHAs (Custom House Agents) and freight forwarders for seamless logistics operations.
• Ensure adherence to export incentive schemes (RodTep, Customs Duty Drawback, CEPA, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
