Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Assistant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will support the purchasing department in vendor management, order processing, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services to meet project and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier information, and pricing.
- Support in vendor evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishment planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal departments (finance, operations, HR, projects) to align purchasing needs with organizational goals.
- Prepare periodic reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
- Assist in digital documentation and workflow tracking for audit readiness.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Strong negotiation, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation.
