Purchase Assistant - Building Material

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor stock levels and identify the need for new materials or equipment.
• Research and evaluate potential vendors, maintain positive relationships, and negotiate prices and terms.
• Create, track, and confirm purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials to construction sites.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure delivered products and materials are in good condition.
• Conduct research on current pricing trends, new materials, and alternative solutions to find cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain and update internal databases with vendor information, discounts, order details, and pricing.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company procedures and relevant regulations.
• Creating material requisition through ERP system as per site requirements through the approval of a project engineer.
• Loading and unloading of materials.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
• 6 MONTHS - 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE in Construction/Building industry
• Immediate joiners are preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
