Job Title: Junior Purchase Co-ordinator
Department: Purchase / Procurement
Industry: Industrial Automation
Location: Kochi

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in procurement of automation, electrical, and mechanical components as per approved requirements.
  • Collect vendor quotations, prepare comparative statements, and purchase order processing.
  • Coordinate with technical, project, and operations teams to understand material specifications and delivery timelines.
  • Follow up with vendors for order confirmation, delivery status, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor databases, and MIS reports.
  • Support inventory monitoring and basic material reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchase policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting authority from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

  • .5–2 years of experience in purchase/procurement.
  • Candidate with relevant educational background andTechnical Knowledge will be considered

Knowledge & Skill

  • Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to learn procurement processes and grow into higher roles.
