Purchase Engineer

Coordinate with suppliers, customer, and internal departments to ensure proper flow of materials through supply chain.

Ø Prepare request for quotations, analysed quotes and negotiated price with supplier.

Ø SAP knowledge on subcontracting

Ø Material accounting as per defined norms

Ø Subcontracting delivery challan closure

Ø Ensuring all the required documents along with the parts.

Ø Subcon delivery dates management in SAP and ensure on time delivery.

Ø BOM verification and correction, if any

Ø Budgeting monthly and yearly spend.

Ø Price and credit terms negotiation.

Ø Getting corrective action from Supplier for rejection & fixing the rejection % based on volume & process.

Ø Cycle counting / audit of supplied RM to Vendor location.

Ø Auditing the supplier quarterly

Ø Getting Credit note from supplier for Rejection.

Ø Generating ECR (Engineering Change Report) for any revision change received from Customer.

Ø Ensuring Scrap collection from supplier after order completion.

Ø Getting Credit note from supplier for Rejection.

Ø Person should have fabrication and machining process. In addition, special process.
