Purchase Engineer

ob Description:

1. Manage the purchasing process including the buying, selling and distributions aspects of the company

2. Review new project proposals for the company

3. Communicate with the marketing and sales team to effect working strategies

4. Analyse existing purchasing processes for performance

5. Implement improvements to existing purchasing processes and delivery systems

6. Handle contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers

7. Identify ideal suppliers based on quality, cost and reliability

8. Maintain a good rapport with the company's clientele

Qualifications for Purchasing Executive

1. Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

2. Prior experience working in the purchasing department in the same industry required

3. Strong understanding of the market conditions and trends

4. Working knowledge of negotiation techniques in the industry

5. Exceptional interpersonal and social skills to build a good rapport

6. Positive and professional demeanour

7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

8. Great team player, Flexible to travel and work long hours as necessary
