Purchase Engineer

• Sourcing & Vendor Development: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on their technical capability, quality history, and financial stability.
• Technical Evaluation: Review engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and specifications to ensure procured items match design requirements.
• Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
• Order Management: Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery to the site or factory.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) team to handle material rejections, warranty claims, and supplier audits.
• Market Analysis: Conduct research on market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and new technologies to stay competitive.
• Cost Reduction: Initiate and execute cost-saving strategies such as value engineering or identifying alternative materials.
