Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced Pharmaceutical Purchase Executive to manage procurement operations. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in pharma purchasing, strong knowledge of products and compliance, and excellent vendor coordination and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end procurement of pharmaceutical products
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors/manufacturers
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, vendor terms, and pricing
• Ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with pharma regulations and product certifications
• Coordinate with QA/Regulatory teams to validate vendor documentation
• Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing, availability, and innovations
• Maintain relationships with vendors and seek cost-effective sourcing
• Prepare regular reports on purchase performance, costs, and lead times
• Generate and analyze procurement reports regularly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement
• Strong knowledge of pharma products, compliance, and documentation
• Proficient in purchase/inventory software
• Skilled in negotiation, documentation, and vendor management
• Accuracy in data handling and timely follow-ups
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• D. Pharm / B. Pharm or Diploma in Pharma
• Knowledge of GST billing, regulatory documentation, and import procurement
• Experience with bulk procurement or contract manufacturing
