Purchase Executive – Plastic Ultrasonic Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our plastic ultrasonic manufacturing operations. The role involves sourcing raw materials, components, and ultrasonic machinery, negotiating with suppliers, monitoring inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries to support smooth production processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supplier Management

Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers of plastic resins, components, and ultrasonic equipment.

2. Negotiation & Sourcing

Negotiate competitive pricing, favorable terms, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs.

3. Procurement of Materials & Equipment

Source and procure raw materials, consumables, and ultrasonic welding machinery with required specifications.

4. Inventory Control

Monitor stock levels, assess production needs, and place timely purchase orders to maintain optimal inventory.

5. Order Processing

Create and process purchase orders, track delivery schedules, and ensure materials are received on time.

6. Quality Assurance

Verify the quality of purchased products and ensure compliance with company standards.

7. Documentation & Record Keeping

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and supplier databases for audits and reporting.

8. Cost Analysis & Optimization

Analyze market trends, evaluate supplier quotes, and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.

9. Internal Coordination

Collaborate with production, stores, and accounts departments to align procurement with operational requirements.

10. Reporting

Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, material consumption, and cost analysis to management.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: 2 years of procurement experience, preferably in the plastic or manufacturing industry.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with plastic raw materials, ultrasonic welding processes, and related machinery.

Negotiation & Communication: Strong negotiation, vendor management, and interpersonal skills.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, compare offers, and ensure cost efficiency.

Software Proficiency: Knowledge of procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.

Attention to Detail: Accuracy in record-keeping, documentation, and quality checks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
