Job Title: Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services for the organization as per quality, quantity, cost, and time specifications. The ideal candidate will maintain strong vendor relationships, ensure timely deliveries, and follow company procurement policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery timelines.

Raise purchase orders (POs) in line with company policies.

Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with vendors.

Track inventory levels and reorder items as needed.

Coordinate with stores, accounts, and user departments for smooth order processing.

Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up with suppliers.

Maintain and update the supplier database and purchase records.

Handle vendor payments and resolve any invoice discrepancies.

Assist in preparing reports related to purchases, cost analysis, and budgets.

Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchase role preferred.

Strong knowledge of purchase processes and vendor management.

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems like SAP/Tally/Zoho.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Good analytical and organizational skills.
