Job Title: Purchase Manager (Electronics)
Location: Coimbatore
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or purchase management, preferably in the solar, electronics, or renewable energy industry
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute procurement strategies for electronic components and materials used in solar systems.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable domestic and international suppliers.
- Technical Evaluation: Collaborate with engineering teams to understand component specifications and ensure the right quality and compatibility.
- Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery timelines, and payment terms to optimize cost-efficiency without compromising on quality.
- Inventory Coordination: Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases accordingly to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Compliance: Ensure that all purchases comply with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier databases, and generate regular procurement reports.
- Cost Optimization: Continuously identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Market Research: Keep up to date with trends in the electronics and solar industry, including new components, technologies, and sourcing opportunities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
