Purchase Executive

Job Summary

The Purchase Manager is responsible for planning, sourcing, and managing procurement activities related to automotive products and associated materials. The role ensures timely availability of quality products at optimal cost while maintaining strong supplier relationships and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute procurement strategies for automotive products and related materials
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts
• Ensure timely procurement aligned with sales forecasts and operational requirements
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with sales, logistics, and finance teams
• Ensure quality standards, documentation, and compliance requirements are met
• Track market trends, supplier performance, and cost fluctuations
• Handle purchase orders, vendor invoices, and reconciliation in coordination with accounts
• Develop cost-control measures and improve procurement efficiency
• Maintain accurate procurement records, MIS reports, and audit-ready documentation

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
• Understanding of automotive products and industrial sourcing environments
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cost-optimization skills
• Ability to analyze demand, pricing trends, and supplier risks
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement reporting tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• MBA / PG Diploma in Materials or Supply Chain preferred
• 4–8 years of experience in procurement or purchase roles within automotive or industrial sectors

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
