Job Title: Purchase Executive

Location: Delhi

Experience: 2–3 Years (Experience in a manufacturing unit is mandatory)

Salary: Up to ₹30,000 CTC per month

Industry: FMCG (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Management & Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers; maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure reliability.
• Procurement & Ordering: Process purchase requisitions, generate Purchase Orders (POs) in ERP systems, and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost savings and improve margins.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts or overstocking, collaborating with warehouse/stores for stock verification.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure received products meet quality standards and specifications; manage returns/rejections with vendors.
• Market Analysis & Reporting: Analyze market trends and raw material price fluctuations. Prepare weekly/monthly reports on purchases, cost analyses, and supplier performance.
• Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, food safety standards, and statutory regulations
• Procure maintenance spares and engineering components specifically for liquid handling systems, including pumps, pipelines, valves, and storage tanks.
• Manage the sourcing of specialized chemicals and raw materials required for edible oil and Vanaspati manufacturing.
• Coordinate the purchase of packaging materials (corrugated boxes, pouches, etc.) essential for FMCG product distribution.
• Submit monthly maintenance reports for all spare parts and engineering items.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: B.Tech qualification is preferred to handle the technical complexities of oil manufacturing machinery.
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience with fmcg background.
• Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of supply chain management, inventory tracking, and engineering components.
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills, proficiency in procurement software, and high attention to detail.
• Industry Context: Previous experience in FMCG or oil manufacturing is highly preferred.
