We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement operations for our restaurant outlet. The role involves sourcing quality ingredients and supplies, negotiating with vendors, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring cost efficiency, and supporting smooth outlet operations.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Source and procure food ingredients, packaging materials, kitchen supplies, and operational items.
- Identify and evaluate new vendors and maintain relationships with existing suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely ordering and supply to avoid stock shortages.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitor daily inventory levels and consumption patterns.
- Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams for stock requirements.
- Maintain optimal stock levels and minimize wastage.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure purchased items meet quality and hygiene standards.
- Verify product specifications, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and company policies.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain purchase records, invoices, and vendor contracts.
- Prepare purchase orders and track deliveries.
- Generate reports on procurement costs, vendor performance, and inventory usage.
Cost Control
- Monitor market price trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support budgeting and expense control initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of procurement or purchase experience (preferably in F&B, restaurant, or hospitality).
- Knowledge of food ingredients, restaurant supplies, and vendor management.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of inventory management practices.
- Attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Basic proficiency in Excel or inventory software.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant or cloud kitchen procurement.
