Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop potential suppliers, while managing relationships to ensure favorable rates and quality.
  • Procurement & Negotiation: Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to secure the best value, and process purchase orders (POs).
  • Inventory & Logistics: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, and track shipments for timely delivery.
  • Cost Control: Perform market research and cost analyses to identify opportunities for reducing procurement expenses.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and maintain accurate records. Amitoje India | BMS +5

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience as a purchasing officer, buyer, or in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Software: Knowledge of ERP software (e.g., SAP) and MS Office (specifically Excel) is often required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration,
