Location: Borivali, Mumbai
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: No Salary Bar for the deserving candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day purchase of chemicals, solvents, and allied raw materials as per sales and stock requirements
• Take quotations from multiple suppliers and finalize purchases based on rate, availability, and urgency
• Strong negotiation with suppliers for best market pricing and credit terms
• Regularly follow up with vendors for dispatch, documentation, and delivery status
• Maintain ready stock of fast-moving items and control slow-moving inventory
• Coordinate with sales team for urgent or bulk material requirements
• Develop new supplier base and maintain strong relations with existing vendors
• Monitor daily market price trends and update management accordingly
• Ensure timely inward planning and coordination with transporters / logistics

Preferred Qualifications:

· Graduate with 2–5 years experience in chemical industry, distribution, or raw material purchasing.

· Good understanding of local and import chemical supplier market with strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

· Street-smart, result-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong follow-up skills.

· Basic working knowledge of Excel, and purchase documentation.

· Knowledge of pharma raw materials, solvents, paints, inks, packaging, or cosmetic chemicals will be an added advantage.
