The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring raw materials, consumables, and services required for smooth factory operations. The role ensures timely procurement at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms.
  • Issue Purchase Orders (PO) as per approved requisitions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
  • Conduct periodic vendor performance evaluation.

2. Cost Control & Negotiation

  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality.
  • Monitor market trends and price fluctuations.

3. Inventory Coordination

  • Coordinate with stores and production departments for material requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays.
  • Monitor minimum stock levels and reorder points.

4. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.

5. Reporting

  • Prepare monthly purchase reports.
  • Track purchase budgets and cost savings.
  • Maintain MIS related to procurement activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • UG & PG Degree in Commerce / Business Administration / Supply Chain Management.
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement (preferably in manufacturing or agri industry).
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of local vendor markets.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
