- Experience: 2–5 years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, often with experience in specific industries like manufacturing or FMCG.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Gorfugal).
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms, pricing, and timely delivery.
- Procurement Operations: Manage the full purchasing cycle—from generating purchase orders to ensuring final material receipt—using ERP systems.
- Cost & Quality Optimization: Analyze market trends, implement cost-saving strategies without sacrificing quality, and ensure materials meet company standards.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, coordinating with internal departments to align with production needs.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts, and prepare performance reports for senior management
