Purchase Executive (Fruits & Vegetables Sector)

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchase Executive with strong experience in handling purchases of fruits, vegetables, and other foodstuff products. The ideal candidate should be computer-literate, efficient in email communication, and capable of managing supplier relationships to ensure smooth procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase fruits, vegetables, and other foodstuff products from local and international suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier offers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and maintain purchase orders, contracts, and related documents.
• Maintain updated records of suppliers, pricing, and stock availability.
• Coordinate with the operations and accounts team to ensure accurate billing and documentation.
• Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to optimize purchasing.
• Handle daily email correspondence with suppliers and internal departments.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Purchase Executive in the foodstuff / fruits & vegetables trading industry (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and strong email communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of local and international suppliers in the food industry is an added advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
