Purchase Executive - interior industry background

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for interior materials such as furniture, fixtures, electrical fittings, hardware, decorative items, and construction materials.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely placement of orders.
• Maintain proper inventory records and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any supply chain issues.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain a supplier database.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
• Prepare regular reports on purchase activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
