Job Overview:

We are seeking a Purchase Executive with sound knowledge of gems and jewellery to manage procurement processes effectively. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing jewellery materials, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency. Proficiency in Excel is a must to maintain accurate records and manage procurement data.

Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase gems, jewellery materials, and related products.

• Negotiate with suppliers to get the best price and quality.

• Maintain good supplier relationships and identify new suppliers.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store/warehouse teams.

• Analyze purchase data and prepare reports using Excel.

• Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to company standards.

• Coordinate with the finance team for timely payments and budgeting.

• Stay updated on market trends and jewellery industry developments.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in purchase or procurement within the gems and jewellery industry.

• Strong knowledge of gems, jewellery materials, and market trends.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting, spreadsheets).

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
