KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supplier Management:
- Source, evaluate, and select local vendors based on price, quality, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers.
- Monitor and resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers.
- Procurement Operations:
- Process and manage purchase orders and related documents in accordance with company policy.
- Track the status of orders to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
- Authorize payments and manage purchasing expenses.
- Internal Collaboration & Strategy:
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand and meet their purchasing requirements.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, new procurement methods, and pricing fluctuations.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with business objectives and promote cost-effectiveness.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to optimize costs and prevent stockouts.
- Ensure the quality of procured items and address any quality-related issues.
