Responsibilities -

  • Researching and evaluating potential vendors.
  • Comparing the prices of different vendors for gaining maximum ROI.
  • Negotiating contracts on reasonable terms for pricing and supply.
  • Tracking the orders and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Monitoring purchased products to ensure quality.
  • Updating order details into our internal databases.
  • Issuing purchase reports including the cost analysis.
  • Ensuring stock availability and placing orders as and when required.
  • Verifying receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered.
  • Resolving shipments in error with suppliers.
  • Collaborating with the team to develop purchasing plans and find potential vendors.
  • Maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
  • Staying up to date with the latest market and industry trends.
  • Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
  • Should work with the team members, managers, and supervisors to formulate purchasing policies, plans, and procedures.
  • Should be able to collaborate with the financial team members to set the required budgets.
  • Visit local dealers on a regular basis to peruse new inventory and maintain positive working relationships with those vendors.
  • Inform vendors of our purchasing requirements and ensure all tasks are fulfilled, from producing new keys to providing maintenance records.

Requirements -

  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes and policies.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft office suite).
  • Ability to create reports and conduct a cost analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to accurately review the contracts.
  • A keen eye to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Critical Skills:

  • Strong Logistics/Transport Negotiation Skills across Rail/Air/FTL/LCL/Courier modes.
  • Experience of Import Processes
  • Knowledge of Liaison for various Licenses like WPC/BIS/L&M/IGCR/E-WASTE/EPR…etc.
  • Knowledge of Waste Management Compliance.
  • Knowledge of Licenses for PIMS, SIMS, BIS…etc. for individual imports.
  • Experience in the areas of Procurement of C class items like Packing Materials and Assets.
  • Warehouse Negotiations and Warehouse Compliance.
  • Experience in Negotiating for Service Contracts like Manpower Contracts, Security, Warehouse and Guest House Leasing Negotiations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
