Job Summary

We are looking for a smart and technically sound Electronic Purchase Engineer with hands-on experience in electronic components sourcing, both domestically and internationally. The role involves vendor development, negotiation, cost analysis, and coordination with engineering and store teams to ensure timely procurement of high-quality electronic parts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Domestic & International Procurement

Source electronic components (ICs, resistors, capacitors, connectors, PCBs, sensors, SMPS, displays, etc.) from Indian and international suppliers (China, Taiwan, Europe, etc.)

Identify alternate vendors for cost optimization and lead time reduction

Handle complete import process – quotation, PO, shipping documents, customs clearance

2. Vendor Development & Costing

Evaluate supplier capability, quality, and reliability

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and MOQs

Compare quotations and recommend cost-effective solutions

3. Order Processing & Tracking

Raise and release purchase orders (POs) in ERP

Follow up with vendors for order confirmations and timely dispatch

Coordinate with freight forwarders and CHA for imports

4. Technical Coordination

Review BOM and coordinate with R&D/engineering for specification clarification

Ensure that parts meet technical requirements and compliance (RoHS, CE, etc.)

Support the team in sourcing alternates for obsolete or long lead time components

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain updated records of POs, supplier contracts, and import/export documents

Prepare MIS reports for pending orders, lead times, and supplier performance

Ensure adherence to company procurement SOPs and quality standards

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of electronic components, specifications, and datasheets

Experience in international sourcing, Incoterms, customs, and HS codes

Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills

Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems

Ability to read and understand basic electronic circuit diagrams or BOM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,116.95 - ₹28,000.00 per month
