We’re expanding our procurement team and seeking a dynamic Deputy Manager – Purchase to drive vendor excellence, cost optimization, and strategic sourcing.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for sheet metal components, consumables, and indirect materials
• Develop and manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely deliveries
• Collaborate with production, planning, and quality teams to align purchase schedules
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and inventory levels to optimize cost and supply
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audits, and documentation standards
• Support ERP-based purchase workflows and continuous process improvement

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field (MBA preferred)
• 5–8 years of experience in purchase/procurement within sheet metal or automotive manufacturing
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
• Knowledge of GST, taxation, and commercial terms
• Excellent communication and team coordination abilities
