We are looking for a highly experienced Purchase Manager to lead and strengthen our procurement function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with project requirements and organizational goals.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, price negotiation, order placement, and timely delivery.
• Establish, evaluate, and maintain strong vendor/supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to optimize cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure availability of materials, machinery, and services in line with project timelines.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential vendors and alternative materials.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and finance teams to align purchasing with project needs.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important procurement data for audits and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and statutory requirements.
• Lead, train, and supervise the purchasing team for effective procurement operations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proven expertise in Purchase & Procurement Management within the Civil/Construction/Infrastructure industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendors, and suppliers.
• Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Strong understanding of costing, budgeting, and contract management.
• Ability to handle high-value procurement with accountability and transparency.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP/ERP systems (advantageous).

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Supply Chain Management / or equivalent (MBA in Supply Chain or Materials Management preferred).
• Minimum 10 years to 25 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement, specifically in the Civil & Construction / Infrastructure Projects industry.
