Purchase Manager

The Purchase Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods, materials, and services required for business operations. This role involves developing purchasing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining quality standards while aligning with company policies and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies in line with organizational goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and select vendors/suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to achieve maximum value.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.
• Collaborate with internal departments (production, finance, operations) to forecast and plan purchase requirements.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance.
• Conduct market analysis to track trends, new products, and price fluctuations.
• Ensure adherence to legal, contractual, and company procurement policies.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, reports, and cost analysis for management.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to optimize procurement efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office tools.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
