Reports To: Supply Chain Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Purchase Manager – Electronics & FMCG Division is responsible for managing the procurement of electronic products and fast-moving consumer goods to ensure timely availability, cost efficiency, and quality compliance. The role focuses on supplier sourcing, negotiation, inventory coordination, and alignment with sales and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute procurement strategies for Electronics and FMCG products
  • Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers locally and internationally
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and contracts with vendors
  • Ensure availability of stock in line with sales forecasts and demand plans
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and sales teams for smooth operations
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and overstocking
  • Ensure product quality, specifications, and compliance with company standards
  • Track market trends, pricing movements, and competitor activities
  • Manage purchase orders, documentation, and supplier performance reviews
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, import/export regulations, and audits
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency
  • Handle supplier issues, disputes, and claims professionally

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in Electronics & FMCG
  • Strong knowledge of local and international sourcing
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple categories and high-volume SKUs
  • Strong commercial awareness and decision-making skills
